Christian Community Action
Our congregation collects food every Sunday for the CCA Food Pantry in Norwalk, CT. Members of our congregation volunteer at the pantry on a weekly basis.

In addition, each December we participate in the Christmas “Gift of Giving” program. Last year we donated gifts to 65 families and raised money for food certificates. Through the combined support of other interfaith church families, CCA presented gifts to 400 families including nearly 800 children.

The food pantry at CCA is open Monday through Friday, from 9:30am to 12pm. Six days worth of food is provided to about 24 families daily. Last year alone CCA provided food to over 6,000 people.

CCA stocks its pantry with food donations from local churches, schools, individuals, and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Financial donations from churches, individuals, businesses and foundations supplement this.

CCA also distributes furniture, kitchen wares, books, mattresses and holiday gifts. CCA provides camp opportunities, Conversational English Classes and Emergency Financial support.
