Our congregation collects food every Sunday for the P2P Food Pantry in Norwalk, CT. Members of our congregation volunteer at the pantry on a weekly basis.
In addition, each December we participate in the Christmas “Gift of Giving” program. Last year we donated gifts to 65 families and raised money for food certificates. Through the combined support of other interfaith church families, P2P presented gifts to 400 families including nearly 800 children.
The food pantry at P2P is open Monday through Friday, from 9:30am to 12pm. Six days worth of food is provided to about 24 families daily. Last year alone P2P provided food to over 6,000 people.
P2P stocks its pantry with food donations from local churches, schools, individuals, and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. Financial donations from churches, individuals, businesses and foundations supplement this.
P2P also distributes furniture, kitchen wares, books, mattresses and holiday gifts. P2P provides camp opportunities, Conversational English Classes and Emergency Financial support.
Join us in volunteering every Tuesday morning from 9:30-12:00pm.
